The Glory of Reconstruction

Kangan Natural Gas Refinery
Islamic Republic of Iran contains 15% of the world's proven gas reserves
The government energy substitution-orientated policies for domestic consumption, natural gas instead of mineral oil, have demonstrated a 297% growth during post-revolution years. The total daily capacity of the newly constructed refineries at present stands over 134 million cubic meters while, according to existing statistics, the capacity of country's gas refineries in 1995 increased to 429% in comparison with that of the last year of the former regime. As a massive and significant project, with a capacity of 90 million cubic meters, "Kangan Natural Gas Refinery" is now capable of producing abundant supply of gas for the households as well as industrial consumption.
Ghaem project "Spongy Iron Through Direct Reactivation"
As a superior technique and an innovative phenomenon, the direct reactivation method of producing iron was first patented as an Iranian invention in the Islamic Republic of Iran and then registered in Germany. Once compared with three other conventional methods of manufacturing iron, the above mentioned technique certainly is more cost-effective. Under present circumstances, according to various experts, only three countries such as Mexico, Germany and the U.S.A. possess this kind of technology. Moreover, Ghaem's direct reactivation method with 96% "metallisation" has undoubtedly gained an international scientific stature for the Islamic Republic of Iran.
An Italian company, Danily, has obtained exclusive authorisation for utilisation of this new technology in 1996 for fifteen years. Due to a signed contract, the above company also agreed to pay a fee of US$ 1000,000.00 to Iran for establishing each "Steel Factory" requiring the direct reactivation method, with an annual 600,000 tons capacity.
Mobarakeh Steel Complex
The country's massive production capacity of "rough steel" in 1994, 6560,000 tons, obviously demonstrated one more resounding industrial achievement of the post-revolution era -- indicating a 620% growth as compared to that of the pre-revolution years. Remarkably, Mobarakeh Steel Complex annually manufactures 2.4 million tons of "steel plates" and now also ensures the full employment of 25,000 people.
Isfahan Iron Foundry is yet another powerful pole of the national steel industry whose highly-skilled engineers and competent technicians have already gained regional and international reputations for innovating a new method of producing Spongy Iron, designing and manufacturing Macro-weighty Crafts, producing operative heating furnaces, manufacturing rail tracks, etc.
